RCT is seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer to support high-visibility government applications focused on entitlement systems, identity and access management (IdAM/ICAM), authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. This role bridges design, development, and deployment, delivering secure, accessible, and high-performance web experiences for both administrators and end users.
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
+ Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
+ Build accessible, user-centered front-end and back-end solutions.
+ Optimize website performance, databases, and server integrations.
+ Conduct performance testing, QA, and ongoing monitoring.
+ Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment.
+ Troubleshoot production issues and improve UX/UI continuously.
+ BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
+ Strong knowledge of usability and accessibility across devices.
+ Front-end: HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript.
+ Back-end: PHP, MySQL, WP REST API, JSON.
+ Experience developing custom WordPress features, plugins, unit tests, and accessibility-compliant solutions.
+ AWS certification.
