RCT is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical Entitlement Programs, including IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. The role blends systems administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure design, with a focus on AWS-based environments, modern DevOps practices, and resilient architectures.
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
+ Maintain and enhance infrastructure for both legacy and new mission applications.
+ Design and deploy modern solutions (containers, serverless, self-healing systems).
+ Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team with 3-week delivery cycles.
+ Participate in backlog grooming, planning, and team collaboration.
+ Share operational (O&M) duties, including limited after-hours on-call rotation.
+ BS with 8–12 years or MS with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
+ Strong AWS experience (console & CLI).
+ Kubernetes containerization.
+ Linux systems administration and Bash scripting.
+ Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
+ Automation tools (Jenkins, Rundeck).
+ Security accreditation and controls experience.
+ Excellent communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience.
+ C2S experience (4+ years).
+ High-availability and multi-region failover design.
+ Log aggregation/analysis (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
+ IdAM/ICAM and entitlement systems experience.
+ Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Python).
+ AWS certifications.
+ Knowledge of IAM and Zero Trust principles.
