Lead DevOps Engineer supporting a large-scale (200+ FTE) technical development program focused on modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while supporting mission-critical applications in a 24/7 environment. Includes an on-call rotation (1 week every ~2 months).
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
+ Bachelor’s degree with 11–15 years of relevant experience
+ Expert-level Linux administration
+ Strong DevOps expertise with Jenkins, GitHub, Rundeck
+ Extensive experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices
+ Experience with JUnit or similar testing frameworks
+ Agile development experience
+ Strong AWS experience, including:
- CloudFormation
- EC2
- S3
- RDS
- VPC
+ Containerization expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS
+ Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
+ Nexus repository administration
+ Version control and issue tracking tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
+ Knowledge of container registries and container security best practices
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Experience with the Elastic Stack
+ Experience in the customer’s cloud environments
+ Additional Nexus administration and maintenance experience
+ Lead DevOps engineering efforts across the full SDLC
+ Design and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation
+ Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
+ Support containerized applications in production
+ Participate in architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operations
+ Provide on-call support to ensure 24/7 mission availability
