This role will directly report to the President of RCT in the Power Systems Division.
The Program Manager will facilitate improved coordination of our growing base of complex contracts, projects, streamlining operations, and maximizing efficiency. It will drive increased accountability across RCT’s multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. A key measure of success will be fostering increased collaboration among team members, enhancing communication, and mitigating potential risks and roadblocks. Additionally, it will involve identifying improvements to project delivery through active management, metrics/KPIs, and routine project/program reviews.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of multiple programs.
- Serve as the primary interface with external customers, ensuring satisfaction.
- Ensure timely completion of all materials and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution.
- Drive technical excellence, setting program standards and enabling execution.
- Provide overall leadership and direction to an integrated program team.
Financial Management:
- Forecast financial performance and maximize award fee/profit.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms and conditions.
- Manage complex, Cost Plus and Fix Price programs/contracts
Stakeholder Communication:
- Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication with project sponsors, partners, team members, service and support personnel, and management.
Proposal Development and Growth:
- Support growth activities such as proposal development, quoting activities, and visiting customers.
- Develop and manage submission of proposals.
Project Planning and Reporting:
- Develop project schedules, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Produce regular status reports, including project achievement status, risks, issues, and recommendations for corrective action.
- Track and report on progress and outcomes.
General Management:
- Manage key program elements, including goals and milestones, risks, available resources, budgets, standard operating procedures, quality control, and results. Identify project interdependencies, aligning resources and efforts where appropriate.
- Proactively anticipate and address project issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
+ U.S. Citizen
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant area.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead others and manage resources to ensure complete contract coverage.
+ Ability to organize, delegate, and monitor work to stay on schedule.
+ Provide supervision to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work product.
+ Expertise with monitoring and evaluation functions.
+ Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
+ Ability to compile and analyze data and provide recommendations.
+ Ability to analyze programs and processes for effectiveness.
+ Ability to operate independently to complete tasks.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
+ Detail-oriented with strong writing skills for drafting and formatting professional-grade documents.
+ High degree of organization and time-management skills.
